[specimen] Specimen on AMD64

Hello,

I have installed the 0.5.2_rc3 on an uptodate gentoo with an AMD64 processor
It compiles fine, when I run it I can see the process with ps ax, but  
no gui and no jack client are loaded. Any known issue with the new 
release of Specimen and the AMD64 arch ?
